- Fri. Praise God for His faithfulness to CEF this summer: safety for staff, volunteers, and campers, for His Word that does not return void, for the seed of the Gospel sown in the hearts of the children.
- Sat. Praise God for Janet Kramer as she grades the Mailbox Club™ lessons. Janet spends many hours grading the lessons, writing notes, and praying for the children.
- Sun. Pray for many children to attend Good News Club® this fall.
- Mon. Praise God for Jesus who has freed us from the kingdom of darkness. Ask God to give you a burden for those who are lost.
- Tue. Pray for Shelley, Dillon, and other directors and staff from the state of PA as they travel to Mann’s Choice PA for a few days of meetings, training, and refreshment.
- Wed. Pray for Linda as she prepares for the volunteer training classes.
- Thu. Pray for Shelley and Dillon as they travel home from Mann’s Choice today.
- Fri. Pray for God to burden the hearts of His people to reach the children in their neighborhood with the Gospel.
- Sat. Praise God for times of refreshment. Pray that God would refresh Shelley, Linda, and Dillon.
- Sun. Praise God for the army of volunteers who serve the Lord through a CEF of Schuylkill County ministry. Pray for each one to be in the Word: spending time daily growing in their knowledge of Him.
- Mon. Pray for more people willing to serve the Lord through the Good News Club® ministry. Schools are open but we don’t have the volunteers to go in.
- Tue. Pray for Shelley, Linda, and Dillon to work together in unity and to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading.
- Wed. Pray for the Good News Club® registration forms to get home to the parents and for many children to sign up to attend.
- Thu. Praise God for Jennifer Hautle who has been volunteering in the office to make sure that our child protection paperwork is in compliance with what the state of PA requires.
- Fri. Pray for the TCE™ and Volunteer Training Class preparations.
- Sat. Pray for Shelley as she helps to teach a TCE Level One™ (Teaching Children Effectively™) course beginning today through the month of November. Today is the jump start (all day) class. Pray for Dillon as he participates as a student.
- Sun. Pray for God to prepare the hearts of the children to be receptive to the Gospel message.
- Mon. Pray that the “things of this earth would grow strangely dim in the light of [Jesus’] glory and grace.”
- Tue. Today is Volunteer Training Class (10:00-noon and 6:30-8:30 p.m.). Pray for many to attend. Pray for Shelley, Linda, and Dillon as they lead these classes.
- Wed. Pray for more children to call the Tel-A-Story™ number~ a place where they can hear a Biblical truth story to help them grow in their relationship to the Lord Jesus. (1-888-878-8660)
- Thu. Pray for children who are in foster care~ that they will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and believe in Jesus as their Savior, to know a Father who will never leave them.
- Fri. Pray for God’s people to be ready in season and out of season to share the Gospel.
- Sat. Pray for Shelley and Dillon as they share the Gospel during the St. Clair Block Party. (12:00-4:00)
- Sun. Pray for the TCE™ students to make time to complete their homework assignments.
- Mon. Pray for God to give strength and health to Janet Kramer as she ministers through the Mailbox Club™. Thank God for Janet’s love for the children.
- Tue. Tonight, the TCE™ course is being held. Pray for the students to understand what they are being taught. Pray for the instructors: Shelley and Mary, to communicate the course material in a way that is easily understood.
- Wed. Thank God for the directors that serve CEF. Pray for Mark Wyland, PA State Director, as he leads and interacts with others. Pray that God would be his strength in the midst of spiritual opposition.
- Thu. Give thanks for the following men and women who serve on the committee: Chairman Erik Gottfried, Vice Chairman John Racilla, Secretary Linda Fetherolf, Treasurer Cathy Nagle and members Gale Hurst and Tom Tilden as they seek for God to be glorified in all their discussions and the decisions they make for CEF of Schuylkill County.
- Fri. Pray for open hearts to the Gospel.
- Sat. The Good News Club season begins on Monday. PRAY!
