“And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.” Nehemiah 4:14

Meet the 2022 Team of Summer Missionaries:

Amy Hautle

In this life it is sometimes very easy to lose focus of the things that truly matter. The Bible is full of count less examples of God encouraging or warning His people to turn back to Him and quit worshipping idols. I find myself interested in serving as a missionary this summer to tune my focus to Jesus Christ. I also wish to fulfill my calling as a Christian to spread the Gospel. As 1 Timothy 6:12 says, I would like to “fight the good fight for the true faith.”

Christopher Hautle

I feel my reasons for wanting to become a summer missionary are quite basic. I want to fulfill the commandments Jesus gave in the Great Commission, but more specifically I wish to be able to personally lead someone to Christ, as I know God has promised extra rewards for those who do, and I know that the more rewards I receive in heaven, the closer my walk with the Lord was here on Earth.

Bobby Oravitz

I am returning as a summer missionary because Jesus has really blessed me with a burden to spread his gospel throughout our county. Jesus is fun and exciting because of who He is, and to have the opportunity to tell children in Schuylkill County about Him, is priceless. Children need to know who Jesus is and what the reality of what sin is. Having this opportunity to teach is humbling and
an experience I would trade nothing for.

Anna Oravitz

This summer I’ll be returning as a summer missionary to help teach others about the love that God gives. Growing up I have been lucky enough to learn about God and how he loves no matter what. God has helped me through so many things in life, and I want to be able to use my story to help tell others about God’s amazing word. So many kids these days struggle in their personal life and I believe that it’s important for them to hear about God, as he can help them through so much.

Katie Burian

I’m excited to return to be able to help the ministry as needed. It is always a joy to hear how the Lord works through the summer ministry. It is great to be able to help in the office so the love of Jesus can be shared with the children of Schuylkill County.

Xander Burian

I chose to become a summer missionary again this year because of the impact this ministry makes in the lives of the kids we reach. I had an amazing summer last year, teaching and ministering to the kids, and wanted to have that opportunity again this year.
