1. Mon. Praise God for all the Good News Club® volunteers.
2. Tues. Pray “that the word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified” (II Thes.3:1) through the
churches.
3. Wed. Pray for children to complete their Mailbox ClubTM lessons without reminders. Praise God for Janet Kramer and Lori Steffy who grade the lessons and send each child personal notes, and of course, stickers.
4. Thu. Pray for the summer missionaries, to “set the Lord ever before [them]” (Psalm 16:8) as they speak in
churches many Sunday mornings in order to raise their support.
5. Fri. Pray for the children to call the Tel-A-StoryTM number: 1-888-878-8660 where they can hear a different Biblical truth story each day.
6. Sat. Pray for Dillon, Amy, Christopher, and Anne as they complete their Wordless Book practicums in
preparation for the summer ministry.
7. Sun. Pray for the staff and summer missionaries as we gather at the Valley View Park to film a song video
we will use this summer at camp.
8. Mon. Praise God for Katie Burian who works in the office during the summer months helping to set up the next week’s camps and doing anything else that is needed along the way.
9. Tue. Praise God for the team He has brought together for the summer: Katie Burian, Ellie McCarthy,
Christopher Hautle, Anne Centeleghe, and Amy Hautle. We are also blessed to have Kari Gottfried serve as our recreation director for the summer. Please keep them in prayer.
10. Wed. Pray for God to awaken the children’s hearts to the gospel and their need for salvation.
11. Thurs. Pray for children in foster care. Pray for God to bring them to a place where they can hear the
Gospel.
12. Fri. Pray for the CEF® staff as we prepare for the summer ministries.
13. Sat. Praise God for every individual and church that supports CEF financially.
14. Sun. Join us in asking God for 400 children to attend camp this summer.
15. Mon. Pray for more camp volunteers.
16. Tues. Pray for the children who know Jesus to want to share their faith with others.
17. Wed. Pray for churches to serve with CEF to reach the children in their neighborhoods.
18. Thurs. Pray for the Prayer Summit that is this Saturday. Pray for God to burden people to pray.
19. Fri. This evening the summer missionaries, staff, families, and committee will gather for a time of prayer
for the summer ministries.
20. Sat. Pray for Schuylkill County. Join us at the Prayer Summit this morning at 9:00.
21. Sun. “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blesssed is the man who trusts in Him. (Psalm 34:8)
22. Mon. Pray that God would provide the volunteers needed for every GNC® opportunity that is given to us. Volunteers are needed to open clubs at Blue Mountain East, North Schuylkill, Minersville, Mahanoy Area, and St. Clair Elementary.
23. Tues. Praise God for you who pray faithfully for us!
24. Wed. Pray for Christian parents to register their children for Good News Day Camp. It’s a wonderful place to be discipled in the Word of God.
25. Thurs. Pray for the men and women who lead the ministry of CEF of Schuylkill County to be sensitive to
the leading of the Holy Spirit. Committee chairman~ Erik Gottfried, Co-chair~ John Racilla, Secretary~ Linda Fetherolf, Treasurer~ Cathy Nagle, Members~ Gale Hurst and Tom Tilden.
26. Fri. Praise God for our committee members who have given so much time to improve and keep up with the office building and grounds.
27. Sat. Pray for unchurched families to register their children for Good News Day Camp. This may be the only opportunity the child has to hear the Gospel message.
28. Sun. “Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wished, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” Revelation 22:17
29. Mon. Pray for the summer missionaries as they speak in churches to raise support.
30. Tues. Pray that we can be a light in our neighborhood.
31. Wed. Pray for new staff worker, Dillon Wertman, as he learns more about the ministry of CEF and all that goes on behind the scenes to prepare for the summer ministry.
