1. Sun. Give glory to God for Who He is and what He accomplishes in the hearts of those who hear His Word and receive the Gospel.
2. Mon. Join us in praying for a total of 400 children to attend Good News Day Camp this summer. Pray for the 80 volunteers needed to host 400 children at camp.
3. Tues. Pray for Bobby, Xander, Anna, Amy, and Christopher as they speak in churches raising support for their summer service with CEF.
4. Wed. Pray for children to call the Tel-A-Story number 1-888-878-8660 or to listen online at www.18888788660.com to a Biblical truth story that is recorded each day.
5. Thu. Pray for the Good News Day Camp flyers to get into the hands of the children and then to their parents. Pray for God to burden the hearts of parents for the salvation of their children.
6. Fri. Pray for the children who are signed up for the Mailbox ClubTM lessons. Pray for them to grow in their love for Jesus and His Word. Praise God for Janet Kramer and Lori Steffy who grade the lessons the children complete.
7. Sat. Praise God for the churches that support CEF by allowing a summer missionary to have 5-7 minutes of their service time to raise support.
8. Sun. Pray the stories recorded on Tel-A-Story® will be helpful to children and be used to meet spiritual needs. Tel-A-Story 888-878-8660
9. Mon. Pray for the children who attended Good News Club to remember the Bible lessons they were taught this year.
10. Tue. Praise God that He is over the affairs of man. He reigns.
11. Wed. Pray for the CEF® staff to “set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)
12. Thu. Pray for all the Good News Day Camp preparations. Linda puts in much time preparing for crafts.
13. Fri. Pray for Elizabeth, Jerusha, Bobby, and Brent Hautle as they film some videos we will be using at camp this summer.
14. Sat. Pray for Shelley, Jerusha, Bobby, Xander, Anna, Amy, and Christopher as they meet to complete the second week of pre-training and record a videos that will be used during Good News Day Camp. Pray for creativity and wisdom in evaluating Amy, Christopher, and Anna’s Wordless Book presentations.
15. Sun. Praise God for you, our praying friends. You bring our requests before the Throne of Grace, and we are thankful.
16. Mon. Pray for Elizabeth as she puts many hours in designing the videos that we will be using at camp. Thank God that He has gifted Elizabeth in understanding technology.
17. Tue. Pray for children to sign up to attend Good News Day Camp.
18. Wed. Pray for all the camp preparations. Much time is spent preparing the team leader and team assistant information.
19. Thu. Praise God for His provision.
20. Fri. Pray for more volunteers: for camp and for Good News Club when it starts again in the fall.
21. Sat. Pray for the following school districts to distribute Good News Club permission slips: Schuylkill Haven and Tri Valley. (Sch. Haven is willing to host a club and Tri Valley does host Good News Club, but due to policy constraints they will not pass out permission slips.)
22. Sun. Pray for the following school districts to open their doors to a Good News Club and to distribute the permission slips to children: Blue Mountain, Minersville, North Schuylkill, and Pottsville.
23. Mon. Pray for Shelley, Linda, Jerusha, and Elizabeth to “be imitators of God, as beloved children. And to walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” (Ephesians 5:1-2)
24. Tue. Pray for the northern region of the county: for God to open eyes and hearts to the need for salvation. Pray for those who belong to God to have a burden for the lost.
25. Wed. Praise God for the following missionaries who will be sharing at camp: Jeff and Melissa Beauvais, Bob and Bettina Schaeffer, Pastor Britto, and Hannah Noecker.
26. Thu. Pray for the CEF local committee: Erik Gottfried, Gale Hurst, Linda Fetherolf, Cathy Nagle, Dana Oravitz, and John Racilla. They will be meeting tonight ~ pray for wisdom as they lead CEF of Schuylkill County.
27. Fri. Pray for us to have discernment from the Lord for the daily decisions that must be made.
28. Sat. “Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.” Nehemiah 4:14 Keep praying
29. Sun. Pray for God to move in the hearts of parents who do not attend church to have a burden for their children to know the One True God and to begin attending a Bible teaching church where they can grow in “the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18
30. Mon. Pray for children who do not live with both parents. Pray for them to have an opportunity to hear the truth of the God who loves them and will never leave them.
31. Tues. Praise God! “Our God will fight for us.” Nehemiah 4:20
