1. Mon. Pray for God to awaken the children’s hearts to the gospel and their need for salvation.
2. Tues. Pray for children in foster care. Pray for God to bring them to a place where they can hear the Gospel.
3. Wed. Pray for children to complete their Mailbox Club™ lessons without reminders. Praise God for Janet Kramer and Lori Steffy who grade the lessons and send each child personal notes, and of course, stickers.
4. Thu. Pray for CEF of Schuylkill County to be bold and to think outside the box in reaching the children with the Gospel.
5. Fri. Pray for the children to call the Tel-A-Story™ number: 570-621-9099 where they can hear a different Biblical truth story each day recorded by Linda Cerullo.
6. Sat. Pray for parents to be committed to have their children participate in Good News Club~ following through to the end.
7. Sun. Pray for children to want to be in Good News Club. Praise God for those who are excited about attending and very vocal about how much they love club.
8. Mon. Pray for the committee and staff as we prepare the new office location to move into; It is a busy time of year with Good News Clubs and camp preparations going on at the same time.
9. Tue. Praise God for Linda McCarthy, Jimmie Lu Smallwood, and Elizabeth Garcia. He has gifted each of us uniquely. Pray we bring Him glory as we work together.
10. Wed. Praise God for the opportunity to hold a JYC™ Junior Youth Challenge™ club. This is a club that is for 11–15-year-old youth and is held on Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 p.m. over Zoom.
11. Thurs. Pray for many children to attend the monthly party club in Mahanoy City. Pray for Linda, Keith, and the Gottfried family as they reach out into the neighborhood to share the Gospel with the children.
12. Fri. We need summer missionaries to serve with CEF of Schuylkill County this summer. Pray for God to raise up a team to serve in this capacity.
13. Sat. Praise God for every individual and church that supports CEF® financially.
14. Sun. Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures forever!
15. Mon. Pray for the Good News Day Camp permission slips to get into the hands of the children and for parents to sign up their children to attend.
16. Tues. Pray for people willing to serve as team leaders and team assistants at Good News Day Camp.
17. Wed. Praise God for the Valley View Church of God and the men and women who have taken care of the property where the CEF office is currently located on Deep Creek Road. They have plowed and shoveled many times this winter.
18. Thurs. Pray for open doors to reach the children with the Gospel.
19. Fri. Pray for children to understand Who God Is~ Creator, Holy, The Righteous Judge, Love.
20. Sat. Pray for children to understand they need a Savior~ they are sinners separated from a holy God.
21. Sun. Praise God that He “shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
22. Mon. Praise God, He is holy! “Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?” Exodus 15:11
23. Tues. Pray for more club locations. We have a team ready to go, but no location to hold the club.
24. Wed. Pray according to 1 Peter 1:14-16 for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ: “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.'”
25. Thurs. The CEF committee meets tonight. Pray for the men and women who lead the ministry of CEF of Schuylkill County to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Committee chairman~ Erik Gottfried, Co-chair~ Wendell Heisler, Secretary~ Linda Fetherolf, Treasurer~ Cathy Nagle, Members~ Gale Hurst, Dana Oravitz, Luke Walker, and Havilah Walker.
26. Fri. Pray for parents to be committed to have their children attend the Good News Club and for more parents to see the importance of Good News Club to the spiritual growth of their children.
27. Sat. The Tel-A-Story™ 570-621-9099 is another tool to be used to help our children grow in their knowledge of God. Pray for many children to call the number.
28. Sun. Thank God for the pastors who clearly preach the gospel in their churches.
29. Mon. Pray for God’s people to “Remember this and stand firm, recall it to mind, you transgressors, remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done.” Isaiah 46:9-10
30. Tues. Pray for the children to know God is truth, “I the LORD speak the truth; I declare what is right.” Isaiah 45:19b
31. Wed. Pray for the children to know God is the Creator, “I made the earth and created man on it; it was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host.” Isaiah 45:12
