2. Mon. Pray for the Good News Club® that meets at the Blue Mountain Christian Retreat on Monday afternoons.
3. Tues. Good News Club® meets Tuesdays at Bethany E. C. Church, Tamaqua, Kimmel’s E. Free Church, Orwigsburg, and on Zoom. Praise God! “He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;” Daniel 2:21
4. Wed. CEF World Day of Prayer
Good News Club® meets Wednesdays at Calvary Chapel, Valley View, St. Paul’s E. C. Church, Pitman, First United Methodist Church, Pottsville, and on Zoom.
5. Thu. Good News Club® meets Thursdays at St. John’s Reformed Church, Friedensburg and Grace E. C. Church, Schuylkill Haven.
6. Fri. Pray for the children who are signed up for the Mailbox Club™ lessons. Pray for them to grow in their love for Jesus and His Word. Praise God for Janet Kramer and Lori Steffy who grade the lessons the children complete.
7. Sat. Pray for the children in club to have hearts receptive to the Gospel. “And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” (Ezekiel 11:19-20)
8. Sun. Pray the stories recorded on Tel-A-Story® will be helpful to children and be used to meet spiritual needs. Praise God for Linda Cerullo who records the Biblical truth story each day.
9. Mon. Pray for the children who attend Good News Clubs to be discipled in the Word of God so that they grow in their knowledge of God.
10. Tue. Praise God that He is over the affairs of man. He reigns.
11. Wed. Pray for the CEF® staff to “set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)
12. Thu. Pray for all the Good News Club® workers to have time to prepare for club, whether they teach the Bible lesson, Scripture verse, lead music, counsel, or serve as a general helper.
13. Fri. Pray for the CYIA™ committee as we travel to Hooversville, PA. A new locality is needed for training school and the committee is looking into moving to this location. Pray for wisdom and for us to keep our focus on what is important, not getting caught up in minor details.
14. Sat. Elizabeth Smallwood is marrying Kevin Garcia today. Praise God for bringing these two young people together. Pray for their marriage to be strengthened through their faith in Jesus Christ.
15. Sun. Praise God for you, our praying friends. You bring our requests before the Throne of Grace, and we are thankful.
16. Mon. Pray for the children to “Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome…” (Nehemiah 4:14)
17. Tue. Pray for the children to know they were formed by God and knit together by Him. (Psalm 139:13)
18. Wed. Pray for the children to know they are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:14)
19. Thu. Pray for the CEF local committee: Erik Gottfried, Wendell Heisler, Linda Fetherolf, Cathy Nagle, Gale Hurst, Dana Oravitz, Havilah Walker, and Luke Walker. They will be meeting tonight ~ pray for wisdom as they lead CEF of Schuylkill County.
20. Fri. Pray for more volunteers to help in GNC.
21. Sat. Pray for the children to “meditate on all that (God) has done: (to) ponder the work of (His) hands. (Psalm 143:5)
22. Sun. Pray for the Holy Spirit to remind the children who live between two sets of parents that Jesus will never leave them, nor forsake them. (Hebrews 13:5)
23. Mon. Pray for Shelley, Linda, Jimmie Lu, and Elizabeth to “be imitators of God, as beloved children. And to walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” (Ephesians 5:1-2)
24. Tue. Pray for the northern region of the county: for God to open eyes and hearts to the need for salvation. Pray for those who belong to God to have a burden for the lost.
25. Wed. Pray for the children: “Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is not salvation.” (Psalm 146:3)
26. Thu. Praise God~ “Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous, and praise His holy name.” (Psalm 97:12)
27. Fri. Pray for us to have discernment from the Lord for the daily decisions that must be made.
28. Sat. Pray the children will know that “Every word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” (Proverbs 30:5)
29. Sun. Pray for God to move in the hearts of parents who do not attend church to have a burden for their children to know the One True God and to begin attending a Bible teaching church where they can grow in “the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18
30. Mon. Pray for children who do not live with both parents. Pray for them to have an opportunity to hear the truth of the God who loves them and will never leave them.
