1. Sat. Pray for all the children who have heard the gospel at the fair, that the seed of the Word would penetrate their hearts.
2. Sun. “Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man…He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.” Psalm 112:4,7
3. Mon. Praise God for the dedication of Janet Kramer who grades the Bible lessons children send through the mail. Her faithful work has been a blessing to many. Pray for continued wisdom and strength for Janet.
4. Tue. Today is the first of our Soccer Outreaches. Please pray for many children to come to the soccer party at Blue Mountain High School from 6-8pm
.
5. Wed. Pray for parents to be burdened for the spiritual growth of their children.
6. Thu. Pray for the Soccer Outreach at GroveLife Wesleyan Church from 6-8 this evening. Pray that many unchurched children and families will attend.
7. Fri. Praise God for all the churches that support CEF through finances, prayers and volunteers.
8. Sat. Pray for the Soccer Outreach held at Hegins-Hubley Elementary School this morning from 9-noon. Pray that unchurched families will be able to connect with a church in the area.
9. Sun. Pray for the summer missionaries and staff today as they share what God has done this summer.
10. Mon. Pray for God to continue to lead the Committee as they seek a person to take the position of Local Coordinator.
11. Tue. Pray for our summer missionaries as they return to school: Amy Hautle (Lancaster Bible College), Anne Centeleghe (University of Valley Forge), Christopher Hautle (Word of Life Bible Institute), Grace Newswanger, Lillian Szilli, Madilyn Gaydos, Claire Gaydos, Natalee Gaydos, Emily Gaydos, Scarlette Weikel, and Bennett Burian (public school or homeschool), and Katie Burian who will return to teaching (Upper Dauphin School District).
12. Wed. Pray for Connie Neal, as she prepares to take on the position of state director.
13. Thu. Pray for a few more men and women to serve on the CEF of Schuylkill County committee.
14. Fri. Praise God for Christ Link ministry. They give us free website training and help in keeping our site up to date.
15. Sat. Pray for our government leaders. Pray for them to be faithful to the Word of God. Let us remember thatGod is in control of the affairs of men.
16. Sun. “I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done. I spread out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.” Psalm 143:5-6
17. Mon. Praise God for all those who support the ministry through their prayers and finances. We have been so blessed!
18. Tues. Pray for our country, that men, women, boys and girls would see their need for Jesus.
19. Wed. Praise God for all the ways He provides for the financial needs of CEF of Schuylkill County.
20. Thu. Give thanks to the Lord for the following men and women who serve on the CEF® local committee: Mr. Erik Gottfried, Mr. Chris Trapani, Mrs. Linda Fetherolf, Mrs. Cathy Nagle, Mrs. Jean Hurst, and Mr. Tom Tilden. May they desire for God to be glorified in all their discussions and the decisions they make for CEF of Schuylkill County.
21. Fri. Pray for Shelley, Linda, and Trixie to maintain a close relationship with Christ. Pray for them to be consistent in reading their Bibles and in prayer.
22. Sat. Pray that pastors would reach out to unchurched children that came to camp and that families would respond and find a church home.
23. Sun. “Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my
salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.” Psalm 61:5-6
24. Mon. Pray for the northern region of the county: for God to open eyes and hearts to the need for salvation. Pray for those who belong to God to have a burden for the lost.
25. Tues. Pray for children to call the Tel-A-Story number 1-888-878-8660 or to listen online at
www.18888788660.com to a Biblical truth story that is recorded each day.
26. Wed. Pray for the children to desire to read their Bibles.
27. Thu. Pray for another volunteer to help at the Shenandoah Good News Club this fall.
28. Fri. Thank God for all the wonderful volunteers who work with us.
29. Sat. Pray for Shelley to have a restful, refreshing vacation.
30. Sun. Pray for Shelley, Linda, and Trixie as they begin preparations for Volunteer Training Class to be held September 22.
31. Mon. Pray that we will have enough volunteers for our Good News Clubs that begin the first week of October. Pray that schools will continue to welcome clubs for the children.
