September 2025 – Prayer and Praise

  1. Mon. Praise God for all the Good News Club® volunteers.
  2. Tues. Pray “that the word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified” (II Thes.3:1) through the churches.
  3. Wed. Pray for children to complete their Mailbox Club™ lessons without reminders. Praise God for Janet Kramer and Lori Steffy who grade the lessons and send each child personal notes, and of course, stickers.
  4. Thu. Praise God for every individual and church that supports CEF of Schuylkill County financially.
  5. Fri. Pray for the children to call the Tel-A-Story™ number: 1-888-878-8660 where they can hear a different Biblical truth story each day.
  6. Sat. Pray for parents to have a burden for the souls of their children.
  7. Sun. Pray for the CEF staff as we prepare for the fall Good News Club® season.
  8. Mon. Pray for Shelley and Linda as they prepare for next week’s Volunteer Training Classes. We want to meet the needs of the volunteers: what would be most helpful to them as they teach the children.
  9. Tue. Pray for a burden to reach the lost with the Gospel.
  10.  Wed. Pray for the Good News Club® forms to get home to the parents and for them to sign up their children to attend club.
  11. Thurs. Pray for children in foster care. Pray for God to bring them to a place where they can hear the Gospel.
  12. Fri. Pray for the children who know Jesus to want to share their faith with others.
  13. Sat. Pray for Linda and Shelley as they share the Gospel at the St. Clair Block Party (Noon—4:00). Pray for many children to come to our area, for God to soften their hearts to receive the Gospel seed, and an opportunity for the church to reach out to the family in order to disciple them in the Word of God.
  14. Sun. Praise God for the many pastors who supported a summer missionary by allowing them to speak to their congregations to raise prayer and financial support.
  15. Mon. Pray for the summer missionaries as they return to college, school, and jobs.
  16. Tues. This morning, 10:00—12:00, and evening, 6:30—8:30, is Volunteer Training Class. Pray for many to attend and for them to find the class helpful to their ministry and to be encouraged.
  17. Wed. Pray for churches to serve with CEF to reach the children in their neighborhoods. Volunteers are needed.
  18. Thurs. Pray for individuals and/or churches to provide transportation home from Good News Club® for neighborhood children who may not otherwise be able to attend.
  19. Fri. Pray for our camp missionaries: The Britto Family (reaching the lost in India), Tanya Danylova (Ukrainian refugee reaching the refugee children from Ukraine, Russia, and Uzbekistan in Philadelphia, The Beauvais Family (caring for an orphanage/school in Namibia).
  20. Sat. Pray for Schuylkill County: many areas are spiritually dark with no Bible teaching church nearby.
  21. Sun. “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blesssed is the man who trusts in Him.” (Psalm 34:8)
  22. Mon. Pray that God would provide the volunteers needed for every GNC® opportunity that is given to us. Volunteers are needed to open clubs at North Schuylkill, Minersville, Mahanoy Area, and St. Clair Elementary.
  23. Tues. Praise God for you who pray faithfully for us!
  24. Wed. Pray for Christian parents to sign up their children for Good News Club®. It’s a wonderful place to be discipled in the Word of God, learn about missionaries from other countries, and be challenged to “go” as a foreign or local missionary.
  25. Thurs. Pray for the men and women who lead the ministry of CEF of Schuylkill County to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Committee chairman~ Erik Gottfried, Secretary~ Linda Fetherolf, Treasurer~ Cathy Nagle, Members~ Jean Hurst, Tom Tilden, and Chris Trapani. Pray for more men and women who will give of their time to serve on the local committee.
  26. Fri. Pray for seasons of rest which give us strength for the work that lies before us.
  27. Sat. Pray for unchurched families to register their children for Good News Club®. This may be the only opportunity their child has to hear the Gospel message.
  28. Sun. “Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” (Revelation 22:17) Pray for hearts receptive to the Message of Salvation.
  29. Mon. Pray for the club teachers. Club starts next week~ there is much to prepare for.
  30. Tues. Pray that you can be a light in your neighborhood.
