1. Fri. Pray that every child that attended Tamaqua camp would not leave today without knowing that Jesus is their personal Savior.
2. Sat. Praise for Janet Kramer as she grades the Mailbox ClubTM lessons. Pray for Janet as she visits each camp this summer to meet the children and introduce the Mailbox Club. Pray that many children would become faithful Mailbox Club students.
3. Sun. “I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.” Psalm 13:6
4. Mon. Praise God for Jesus who has freed us from the kingdom of darkness. Pray that we would be
passionate about praying for those who are lost.
5. Tue. This week 5-Day Clubs will be held in Pottsville and at our office. Pray that many children would attend. Pray for God’s protection over both clubs.
6. Wed. Pray for summer missionaries, Bobby Oravitz and Amy Hautle, as they teach the club in Pottsville, and Christopher Hautle and Anna Oravitz as they teach the club at our office. Pray that they will be clear in their presentations and that the Holy Spirit would work in the hearts of the children.
7. Thu. Praise God for the army of volunteers who serve the Lord through a CEF of Schuylkill County
ministry. Pray for each one to be in the Word: spending time daily growing in their knowledge of Him.
8. Fri. Pray for God to burden the hearts of His people to reach the children in their neighborhood with the Gospel.
9. Sat. Praise God for times of refreshment. Pray that God would refresh Shelley, Jerusha, and the summer missionaries this weekend.
10. Sun. “The words of the Lord are pure words; as silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times. You, O Lord, will keep them…” Psalm 12:6-7
11. Mon. Praise God for all the facilities where we are allowed to hold Day Camp. Pray for many children to attend Valley View Day Camp this week.
12. Tue. Thank the Lord for Katie Burian who helps in the office each summer. Pray for wisdom for her as she sets up teams for camps and helps with clearance paperwork.
13. Wed. Thank the Lord for the volunteers who make our camps possible. Pray that each one would grow in their love for the Lord and the children. Pray for endurance in the summer heat at camp.
14. Thu. Praise God for Jennifer Hautle who has been volunteering in the office to make sure that our child protection paperwork is in compliance with the state of PA requirements.
15. Fri. Pray for Shelley, Jerusha, Bobby, Alexander, Anna, Amy, and Christopher to stay healthy throughout the camp season.
16. Sat. Pray for Shelley, Linda, Jerusha, and Elizabeth to work together in unity and to be filled with the Holy Spirit daily.
17. Sun. “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18
18. Mon. Pray for good weather at the camp in Pine Grove (Rock) this week. Thank God for the many
volunteers who will be helping.
19. Tue. Pray for God to give strength and health to Janet Kramer as she ministers through the Mailbox Club. Thank God for her love for the children.
20. Wed. Pray for more children to call the Tel-A-StoryTM number~ a place where they can hear a Biblical truth story to help them grow in their relationship to the Lord Jesus. (1-888-878-8660)
21. Thu. Pray for wisdom for Linda as she begins to plan for Good News Club in the fall.
22. Fri. Pray for God’s people to be ready in season and out of season to share the Gospel.
23. Sat. Praise God that the Gospel has been proclaimed through camp and 5-Day Club. Pray for spiritual strength for the staff and summer missionaries for the last two weeks of camp.
24. Sun. “Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is
blameless, and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart…” Psalm 15:1-2
25. Mon. Pray for the children who attend camp at Christmas Pines (Auburn) this week. Pray that their hearts would be hungry for God’s Word. Pray for the volunteers to be sensitive to each child’s spiritual needs.
26. Tue. Thank God for the directors that serve CEF. Pray for Mark Wyland, PA State Director, as he leads and interacts with others. Pray that God would be his strength in the midst of spiritual opposition.
27. Wed. Pray that the seed that is sown in the hearts of the children would bring forth fruit.
28. Thu. Give thanks for the following men and women who serve on the committee: Chairman Erik
Gottfried, Vice Chairman Gale Hurst, Secretary Linda Fetherolf, Treasurer Cathy Nagle and members Dana Oravitz, and John Racilla. May they seek for God to be glorified in all their discussions and the decisions they make for CEF of Schuylkill County.
29. Fri. Pray for open hearts to the Gospel.
30. Sat. Pray that the “things of this earth would grow strangely dim in the light of [Jesus’] glory and grace.”
31. Sun. “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.” Matthew 13:44
