November 2025 – Praise and Prayer

1. Sat. Pray for children who come from broken homes. Children of divorce struggle with a lot of guilt, feeling pulled between the two people they love the most. “The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.” Psalm 16:6

2. Sun. Pray for Bill Elgin as he fills in as state director for PA. Pray for him to have wisdom and that God grants him safety in all his travels. Pray for the state board as they seek to hire a new state director.

3. Mon. Praise God for the dedication of Janet Kramer who grades the Bible lessons children send through the mail. Her faithful work has been a blessing to many. Pray for continued wisdom and strength for Janet.

4. Tue. Pray for those who counsel the children about their relationship with the Lord.

5. Wed. Today is the CEF® World Day of Prayer. Pray for the children of Schuylkill County. (see insert)

6. Thurs. Pray for parents to be burdened for the spiritual growth of their children. God’s command in 2 Peter 3:18 is “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

7. Fri. Pray for our Good News Club® missionary, Tanya Danylova. She is a Ukrainian refugee ministering to the refugee children in Philadelphia. Our club offering will go to support her ministry.

8. Sat. Pray for TCE™ students: Mary, Melanie, Kim, Deb, Linda, Ann Marie, and Kayla and instructors: Shelley, Mary, Diane, Connie, and Brenda. Pray for understanding of the material and perseverance. Pray for the students as they prepare and practice for their final week of class (November 22) when they will teach the Bible lesson they have been working on for the past four classes.

9. Sun. Pray for children in foster care. Pray for them to be placed in Christian homes where they can hear the Gospel message. “But how can they call on Him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about Him? And how can they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:14

10. Mon. Pray for the children to have open hearts to the Gospel. May they be “good soil” that the seed of the Gospel takes deep root and bears much fruit in the years to come.

11. Tue. Pray for the children to be consistent in attending Good News Club® to the end.

12. Wed. Pray for assistant state directors, Brenda Smith and Connie Neal, and the state board as they are in the process of looking to hire a new state director for CEF of PA.

13. Thurs. Pray for a few more men and women to serve on the CEF of Schuylkill County committee.

14. Fri. Praise God for Christ Link ministry. They give us free website training and help in keeping our site up to date.

15. Sat. Pray for our government leaders. Pray for them to be faithful to the Word of God. Let us remember that God is in control of the affairs of men.
16. Sun. Pray for Christian parents to see that their children attend Bible teaching churches on a regular basis.

17. Mon. Pray for a volunteer or paid employee who would enjoy keeping the CEF® website current. There is training available.

18. Tues. Pray for pastors to be bold in sharing the message of the Gospel.

19. Wed. Praise God for all the ways He provides for the financial needs of CEF of Schuylkill County.

20. Thurs. Give thanks to the Lord for the following men and women who serve on the CEF® local committee: Mr. Erik Gottfried, Mrs. Linda Fetherolf, Mrs. Cathy Nagle, Mrs. Jean Hurst, Mr. Tom Tilden, and Mr. Chris Trapani. May they desire for God to be glorified in all their discussions and the decisions they make for CEF of Schuylkill County.

21. Fri. Pray for Shelley, Linda, and Trixie to maintain a close relationship with Christ. Pray for them to be consistent in reading their Bibles and in prayer.

22. Sat. Pray for wisdom for those who lead Good News Club® as they deal with discipline problems.

23. Sun. Pray for Christian parents to see the value of their child attending Good News Club®. It’s a wonderful opportunity to disciple the children in their knowledge of the Scriptures.

24. Mon. Pray for the children who have bad home situations~ ask God to make Himself known within their families, changing lives.

25. Tues. Pray for the children: there are clubs in school districts where CEF® does not have a supporting church. Where can the children go to grow in their knowledge of the Savior and to be discipled in the Word of God?

26. Wed. Pray for the children to desire to read their Bibles.

27. Thurs. Pray that a family devotional book that was donated by Bible Visuals to CEF® for distribution to the children. Pray for God to use the book to increase the parent’s hunger and thirst for the Word of God and then for them to find a church home where they can “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18

28. Fri. Pray for all the wonderful volunteers who work with us in the club ministry.

29. Sat. Pray for the Christmas Party Club being held at the Valley View Church of God today (12:00—3:30 p.m.)

30. Sun. Pray that schoolteachers and administrators would see a positive difference in the children who attend Good News Club®.
