1. Thu. Happy New Year! Spend time praising God for He is Holy, Faithful, Sovereign, All-powerful, All-knowing, All-present, Love, Unchanging, Eternal, Just, Righteous, Gracious…
2. Fri. Pray for the children to learn to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37)
3. Sat. Pray for the CEF local committee. Pray for Erik Gottfried, Linda Fetherolf, Cathy Nagle, Jean Hurst, Tom Tilden, and Chris Trapani. Pray for God’s wisdom as they make decisions for CEF of Schuylkill County. We’re meeting this morning for a strategic planning meeting and the monthly meeting.
Pray for God to raise up additional committee members.
4. Sun. Praise God for our office volunteers. Over the years many people have served the Lord by stuffing the newsletter, preparing camp and Good News Club® registration forms for mailing, stapling, counting crafts, etc.
5. Mon. Some areas of the county are exceedingly difficult places to minister the Gospel. Pray for God to open hearts and to blind the eyes of the enemy.
6. Tue. Pray for Shelley, Linda, and Trixie as they prepare for next week’s volunteer training classes.
7. Wed. Pray for more camp volunteers.
8. Thu. Pray for the Spring Good News Club® permission slips to get into the hands of the parents (for the children to remember to take them home and show their parents).
9. Fri. Praise God for Cathy Nagle who faithfully does the financial tasks for CEF®. She gives many hours to serving God through CEF as our treasurer.
10. Sat. Today is the CYIA™ (Christian Youth in Action™) promotional meeting. Pray for the summer missionary program to be presented clearly.
11. Sun. Pray for the 2026 summer missionaries of God’s choosing.
12. Mon. Pray for children who have a hunger for the Word, that their families would attend a Bible teaching church where they can grow in their knowledge of God.
13. Tue. Today is our volunteer training class (10:00-12 noon and 6:30-8:30 p.m.) Pray for many to attend and for those in attendance to be encouraged and edified. Pray for Shelley, Linda, and Trixie: strength and clear teaching.
14. Wed. Pray for Christian parents to teach their children to have a burden for the lost.
15. Thu. Janet Kramer faithfully grades the Mailbox Club™ lessons and writes a personal note with each lesson. Pray for the children to continue without reminders.
16. Fri. Pray for children in foster care to know the love of our faithful Father who is in Heaven.
17. Sat. Pray for the children to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

18. Sun. Pray for the CEF® state board as they seek a state director. Praise God for Bill Elgin who has been filling in the need for the past year as a volunteer.
19. Mon. Pray for God to send someone who enjoys website design to join our staff part-time or to volunteer.
20. Tue. Pray for the children who desire to attend church and whose parents refuse to take them.
21. Wed. Pray for the children who lost a parent, through death, divorce, or incarceration.
22. Thu. Praise God for every volunteer who gives of their time to help in or with Good News Club®. Some volunteers don’t help in the club but they supply snacks.
23. Fri. Pray for open hearts to the Gospel.
24. Sat. Pray for our children. 80% of American children do not attend church.
25. Sun. Praise God for His supply.
26. Mon. Pray for parents to keep Good News Day Camp in mind as they plan their summer schedules.
27. Tue. Pray for Shelley as she meets with local pastors regarding the World Cup Soccer Outreach that will be held in August.
28. Wed. Pray for more children to call the Tel-A-Story number 1888-878-8660 or listen online at www.18888788660.com.
Pray for the children to sign up for the Mailbox Club™ lessons.
29. Thu. Pray for the Good News Club® volunteers as they prepare for club which begins next week.
30. Fri. Pray for the children who hunger for the Word of God but don’t know that’s what they hunger for so they fill their need with things that do not satisfy.
31. Sat. Pray that Shelley, Linda, and Trixie would “walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which (they) have been called, with humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3
