1. Wed. The children who attended Good News Day Camp receive a Keys for Kids devotional every month. May God use these the devotionals to draw the children to Himself.
2. Thu. Pray for more Good News Club® volunteers.
3. Fri. Praise God for the many children who are attending Good News Club . Pray for them to be faithful in attendance these last two weeks of club.
4. Sat. Thank God for Janet Kramer. Pray for her as she grades the Mailbox ClubTM lessons and corresponds with both children and adults who do the lessons. Pray they would be faithful in doing their lessons.
5. Sun. Pray for more opportunities to share the Gospel with the children in Schuylkill County.
6. Mon. Thank God for Newhurst Bus Company and Jean Hurst who is driving the bus for the club held on Mondays in Pottsville.
7. Tue. Pray for Shelley, Linda, Jerusha, and Elizabeth to be grounded in the Word of God, “so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith~ that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19
8. Wed. Pray for open doors in the North Schuylkill and Mahanoy Area school districts. Volunteers and locations are needed.
9. Thu. Pray for us to be bold in sharing the Gospel.
10. Fri. Pray for the persecuted church. Pray for them, by God’s grace, to persevere to the end.
11. Sat. Pray for the Christmas Party Club being held at Kimmel’s E. Free Church, Orwigsburg (1:00 – 2:30) Pray for many children to attend. Pray for Connie Wright and the many volunteers from Kimmel’s as they share the true story of why we celebrate Christmas.
12. Sun. Pray for the Christmas Party Club being held at Grace E. C. Church, Schuylkill Haven (3:00 – 4:30). Pray for many children to attend. Pray for Elizabeth and Jodi Sitcosky as they share the true story of why we celebrate Christmas.
13. Mon. Pray for Shelley, Linda, Jerusha, and Elizabeth to be “filled with the Holy Spirit…speak(ing) the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:31
15. Wed. Praise God for how He gifted Elizabeth in video design. Pray for more families to connect with Casey & Company, CEF of Schuylkill County’s YouTube Channel.
16. Thu. Give thanks for the following men and women who serve on the committee: Erik Gottfried, Wendell Heisler, Linda Fetherolf, Cathy Nagle, Gale Hurst, Dana Oravitz, John Racilla, Luke Walker, and Havilah Walker.
14. Tue. Praise God for the Savior. “For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 HCSB
17. Fri. Praise God for the Savior~ He is eternal. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were created through Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created. Life was in Him, and that life was the light of men. That light shines in the darkness, yet the darkness did not overcome it.” John 1:1-2 HCSB
18. Sat. Praise God for all the volunteers who have a burden for the children of Schuylkill County and have said, “yes!” when God called them to help with this ministry.
19. Sun. Pray for the schools to remain open to Good News Club.
20. Mon. Pray for Schuylkill Haven and Tri Valley School Districts. Due to district policy, they will not distribute the Good News Club permission slips to the children. This limits the number of children in attendance.
21. Tue. Praise God for the Savior! He is God with us.
22. Wed. Praise God for His great faithfulness to His ministry of CEF , both in Schuylkill County and around the world.
23. Thu. Praise God. He keeps His promises. “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As it is written in Isaiah the prophet: “BEHOLD, I SEND MY MESSENGER AHEAD OF YOU, WHO WILL PREPARE YOUR WAY; THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, ‘MAKE READY THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT.’” Mark 1:1-3 HCSB
24. Fri. Praise God for the Savior. He has come.
25. Sat. Praise God for the Savior. Rejoice! “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior…” Luke 1:47 HCSB
26. Sun. Praise God for the Savior. He is glorious! “For my eyes have seen Your salvation. You have prepared it in the presence of all peoples —a light for revelation to the Gentiles and glory to Your people Israel.” Luke 2:29-30 HCSB
27. Mon. Pray for Shelley, Linda, Jerusha, and Elizabeth to not “…cease in teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.” Acts 5:42
28. Tue. Pray for the children to call the Tel-A-Story number. This is a safe place where the children can hear a short biblical truth story each day. 1-888-878-8660
29. Wed. Pray for the children who do the Mailbox ClubTM lessons to make time during the week to do their lessons and to make learning about the One True God a priority in their lives.
30. Thu. Pray for more opportunities to share the Gospel with the children.
31. Fri. Praise God! He makes all things new!
