- Fri. Today is the last day of camp. Pray for all the children who were reached this summer to remember, cherish, and obey the teaching that they heard at camp this year.
- Sat. Thank God for those who faithfully pray for CEF of Schuylkill County. Pray that God would give others an urgency to pray for us.
- Sun. “…knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.” I Peter 1:18-19
- Mon. Praise God for Janet Kramer as she grades the Mailbox Club™ lessons. Janet spends many hours grading the lessons, writing notes, and praying for the children.
- Tue. Pray for God to burden the hearts of His people to reach the children in their neighborhood with the Gospel.
- Wed. Pray for Shelley, Linda, and Tina to work together in unity and to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading.
- Thu. Praise God for Jesus who has freed us from the kingdom of darkness. Ask God to give you a burden for those who are lost.
- Fri. Pray for more children to call the Tel-A-Story™ number~ a place where they can hear a Biblical truth story to help them grow in their relationship to the Lord Jesus. (1-888-878-8660)
- Sat. Pray for the summer missionaries and staff as they get together today to share what God has done this summer.
- Sun. “One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple.” Psalm 27:4
- Mon. Pray for our summer missionaries who return to college this month; Amy Hautle returning to Lancaster Bible College, and Anne Centeleghe returning to University of Valley Forge.
- Tue. Pray for Christopher Hautle, Grace Newswanger, Scarlette Weikel, Lillian Szillie, and Emily, Natalee, Claire and Madelynn Gaydos as they return to school/homeschool this year. Pray for their protection and spiritual growth. Pray that God would guide them concerning His will for them next summer.
- Wed. Thank God for Katie Burian who helps in the office every summer with many behind-the-scene duties. Her knowledge of the summer ministry and organizational skills are very valuable to us. Pray for her as she returns to her job as a public school teacher.
- Thu. Pray that we are faithful to teach a Biblical worldview to our children.
- Fri. Pray for children who attend the public schools~ to have the opportunity to hear about Jesus: that He is the Way of salvation. For those who know Jesus as Savior to not turn to the right or to the left, that they keep their eyes on Him.
- Sat. Pray that God would be preparing the children to want to attend Good News Club this year and to want to grow in their knowledge of Him.
- Sun. “but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and know me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD.” Jeremiah 9:24
- Mon. Pray for Shelley, Linda, and Tina as they put away everything from camp and begin to plan for the Good News Club season.
- Tue. Shelley will be teaching, and Tina will be attending Teaching Children EffectivelyTM classes beginning in October. Pray for both of them as they prepare.
- Wed. Pray that our Good News Club volunteers would return to help again this year and for new volunteers to be added.
- Thu. Give thanks for the following men and women who serve on the committee: Chairman Erik Gottfried, Secretary Linda Fetherolf, Treasurer Cathy Nagle and members Tom Tilden, Chris Trapani, and Jean Hurst. Pray that God would lead others who have a passion for CEF to serve on our committee.
- Fri. Pray for God’s people to be ready in season and out of season to share the Gospel.
- Sat. Praise God for those who support CEF of Schuylkill County financially. Pray that they would see God’s blessing on their lives.
- Sun. “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
- Mon. Pray for Shelley, Linda, and Tina to be people of the Word: to always look to the Word of God in our decision-making process.
- Tue. Pray for Shelley to have a restful, refreshing and safe vacation.
- Wed. Thank God for the men and women who volunteer to stuff and seal our monthly newsletter: Dave and Karen Snyder, Janet Mauer, Jack and Barb Wetzel, Mary Allen, and Grace Saylor. We appreciate them so much!
- Thu. Pray for wisdom and unity among the committee as they meet this evening.
- Fri. Pray for Linda to have a restful long-weekend and safety in travel.
- Sat. Pray that Tri-Valley School District would change their policy and allow our Good News Club flyers to be distributed through the school.
- Sun. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
