1. Thu. Praise God for our office volunteers. Over the years many people have served the Lord by stuffing the newsletter, preparing camp and Good News Club® registration forms for mailing, stapling, counting crafts, etc.
2. Fri. Pray for the children to learn to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37)
3. Sat. Pray for our open-air ministry today in the Valley View area. Pray that children would eagerly receive the Gospel.
4. Sun. “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory…” Philippians 3:20-21
5. Mon. Pray for all the unchurched children who attended camp this summer to be able to attend a church that will disciple them in their walk with Jesus.
6. Tue. Pray for our summer missionaries as they return to work and school: Katie teaching, Amy and Anne going to college, Jerusha interning at college, Christopher and Grace returning to high school. Pray that God would guide each one this year into His will for their future.
7. Wed. Pray for the office staff as they clean up from camp and begin to prepare for the fall Good News Clubs.
8. Thu. Pray for your pastor and your church to have a burden for the lost.
9. Fri. Praise God for Cathy Nagle who faithfully does the financial tasks for CEF®. She gives many hours to serve God through CEF as our treasurer.
10. Sat. Pray that God would be glorified today as the summer missionaries share about their summer during the End-of-Summer picnic.
11. Sun. “This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.” I John 2:25
12. Mon. Pray for children who have a hunger for the Word, that their families would attend a Bible teaching church where they can grow in their knowledge of God.
13. Tue. Pray that God would bring whole families to Christ through the ministry to the children.
14. Wed. Janet Kramer faithfully grades the Mailbox Club™ lessons and writes a personal note with each lesson. Pray for the children to continue without reminders.
15. Thu. Some areas of the county are exceedingly difficult places to minister the Gospel. Pray for God to open hearts and eyes of the spiritually blind.
16. Fri. Pray for CEF® state director, Mark Wyland and assistant state director, Brenda Smith. Mark travels often and they both have many meetings to encourage the local directors. Pray as they lead the ministry in the state of PA.
17. Sat. Pray for Rev. Jeremiah Cho, president of CEF International. Pray for God’s wisdom and vision to direct him in the right decisions for the organization.
18. Sun. “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.” Jude 20-21
19. Mon. Pray that the Holy Spirit would work in the hearts of every Good News Club teacher preparing them to minister to the children this fall.
20. Tue. Praise God for the schools that are willing to hand out our Good News Club flyers. Please pray that Tri-Valley schools would change their policy and agree to hand out our flyers. Getting the flyers home to the parents makes a big difference in the amount of children who attend club.
21. Wed. Pray that God would keep the doors opened to holding Good News Club® in the schools.
22. Thu. Pray for the CEF local committee. Pray for Erik Gottfried, Linda Fetherolf, Cathy Nagle, Gale Hurst, and Tom Tilden. Pray for God’s wisdom as they make decisions for CEF of Schuylkill County. Pray for God to raise up additional committee members.
23. Fri. Thank God for those who give financially to the ministry of CEF. Pray that they would experience God’s promise to “meet all [their] needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
24. Sat. Pray that God would send forth the laborers (GNC volunteers) into the harvest field (Good News Club) this school year.
25. Sun. “I have remembered Your ordinances from of old, O LORD, and comfort myself.” Psalm 119:52
26. Mon. Pray for Shelley to have a refreshing vacation. Pray for safety in travel.
27. Tue. Pray for the children to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18

29. Thu. Praise God for Jen Hautle. She volunteers in the office, keeping our child protection paperwork up to date.
30. Fri. Pray for Linda as she organizes the lesson material needed for our GNC teachers.
31. Sat. Pray that the parents of both churched and unchurched children would see the value of sending their children to Good News Club. Pray that they see to it that their children attend club.
