October 2021 Prayer Calendar

1. Fri. Praise God for Linda Cerullo who recorded a story on the Tel-A-Story number for years. Many children heard the Gospel because of her faithfulness to this ministry.
2. Sat. “Then (Jesus) said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.'” Matthew 9:37-38

3. Sun. Praise for Janet Kramer as she grades the Mailbox Club lessons. Pray for the many children who made professions of faith to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Pray for more children to sign up to receive the lessons and to do them without reminders.

4. Mon. Pray we “make an impact on the children (the) security and the love of God to keep in their hearts.” Karen Andreas

5. Tue. Praise God for the army of volunteers who serve the Lord through a CEF of Schuylkill County ministry. Pray for each one to be in the Word: spending time daily growing in their knowledge of Him.

6. Wed. Pray for us “to be able to get GNC in more schools.” Gale Hurst

7. Thu. Pray “that God prepares the hearts and minds of the children to hear and understand God’s Word.” Cathy Nagle

8. Fri. Pray for God to burden the hearts of His people to become involved in CEF and reaching the children in the neighborhood with the Gospel.

9. Sat. Pray “for the Blue Mountain Elementary East kids, that they would come to monthly party clubs held at the church.” Connie Wright

10. Sun. Praise God for His Holy Spirit who moves in the hearts of those He calls to salvation. Pray for His people to be ready in season and out of season to share the Gospel.

11. Mon. “Thank you, Lord, that you are way ahead of us in preparing the hearts of the children for hearing the Gospel message.” Janet Kramer

12. Tue. Pray “that many children would enthusiastically attend Good News Club at Hegins-Hubley” Elementary School. Janet Costa

13. Wed. Pray because there are “many children hungry for God’s Word.” Rosella Gottfried

14. Thu. Pray “that children come to the West Penn (Elementary School) Good News Club.” Fran Kowalewski

15. Fri. Pray for Shelley as she leads the ministry, that she would continue to “cast all of her anxieties” on the Lord. (I Peter 5:7)

16. Sat. Praise God for His Word and the privilege we have as believers to share His truth with the children. Pray for more volunteers and locations to hold Good News Club .

17. Sun. Pray for Janet Kramer as she writes personal notes to all the children who participate in the Mailbox ClubTM. Pray for wisdom and for God to give her the words to write that would correct, encourage, and inspire the children.

18. Mon. Pray for us “to be able to connect with families of GNC kids and get them to church.” Jonathan Hikes

19. Tue. “Pray for the Blue Mountain West kids to come to club and find their joy in loving Christ!” Debra Marbarger

20. Wed. Pray for more children to call the Tel-A-StoryTM number~ a place where they can hear a Biblical truth story to help them grow in their relationship to the Lord Jesus. (1-888-878-8660)

21. Thu. Pray “that I can bring God’s message to the children in a way that they would understand and accept.” Lauren Mundinger

22. Fri. Pray, PA State Director, Mark Wyland, will have “the mind of Christ” as he leads the CEF workers in the state. (1 Corinthians 2:16)

23. Sat. Ask God to prompt children’s memories about working on their Mailbox Club lessons. 24. Sun. Pray for open hearts to the Gospel.

25. Mon. “Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches! Pour out your heart like water before the presence of the Lord! Lift your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint for hunger at the head of every street.” Lamentations 2:19

26. Tue. Cry out to God for the children who are starving for the Word of God.

27. Wed. Continue to cry out to God for the children.

28. Thu. Give thanks for the following men and women who serve on the committee: Chairman Erik Gottfried, Vice Chairman Wendell Heisler, Secretary Linda Fetherolf, Treasurer Cathy Nagle and members Gale Hurst, Dana Oravitz, John Racilla, Luke Walker, and Havilah Walker. May they seek for God to be glorified in all their discussions and the decisions they make for CEF of Schuylkill County.

29. Fri. Pray for the children to “Seek the LORD and live.” Amos 5:6
30. Sat. Pray for the families who do not have a church home. Pray for God to burden their hearts so that they yearn for His Word.
31. Sun. Pray for the children’s hearts to be open to the Gospel. Pray for them to have an understanding mind.
